Payment Policy

Medical services are provided and billed by Oasis Chiropractic and Wellness, Inc.  Our providers participate in most major health insurance plans in the region. We have included some of the major medical plans we participate with. 

 

If your plan is not listed, please call the office or your insurance company directly to see if you have out-of-network benefits. 

Please be aware that with any health plans, there may be deductibles and copayments for which you are responsible.

What billing or insurance information will I receive?

​You will receive a "Explanation of Benefits" from your insurance company showing the services we provided and billed.  This not a bill from our office.  After your insurance has paid, we will provide you a monthly statement of your account should you have an outstanding balance.

How long will it take to get things settled with the insurance company?

Generally, it takes from 45 to 60 days to obtain payment from an insurance carrier.​  Please keep in mind some insurances may take longer. 

​Why am I getting a bill?

After your medical claims have processed through your insurance company you may receive a bill if you have an outstanding deductible, your co-pay or co-insurance was initially miscalculated, or you have not made a payment on each visit. ​

​I received a notice that my insurance company has paid on my bill -- but I can't understand how they calculated their payment amount. Do you know?

​If we have received any such information from your insurance company, we'll be glad to share it with you. However, for answers to any questions about insurance payments, deductibles, or co-payments, you generally need to check with your insurance company.
